Beth Shapiro: More than 30 Years of Experience Helping Organizations Succeed
Beth Shapiro specializes in working with leaders, teams, and entire organizations to build engagement, improve performance, resolve conflict, and create strategic, sustainable change. Her work focuses on coaching and training to build the internal “relationship infrastructure” needed to execute on business strategy and mission.
Beth holds a master’s degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School and is a Master Certified Coach and Organizational Relationship Systems Coach (MCC, ORSCC). Her background includes 20+ years of management, leadership, and team-development work in the private and nonprofit sectors, including roles as project manager, marketing director, CEO, board member, and board chair. She has extensive experience providing coaching and training in a variety of settings including:

Beth has served on the faculties of the prestigious Coactive Training Institute and CRRGlobal, both schools accredited by the International Coach Federation; as well as The Leadership Circle’s training faculty. She is certified in a number of diagnostic and assessment instruments including the MBTI, Human Synergistics, The Leadership Circle, Team Diagnostic, and the Integrative Enneagram (IEQ.)
As subject matter expert for coaching and facilitation, Beth played a leading role in the U.S. Transportation Security Administration’s Security Evolution trainings, featured on 60 Minutes and MSNBC. She was a member of the IDEO design team that developed the trainings, and was the designer and leader of an extensive train-the-trainer program that prepared more than 1,000 TSA employees to train the entire 50,000+ workforce. The Department of Homeland Security included this culture transformation program among their top 10 successes, and a PWC audit concluded that the training created substantive change at U.S. security checkpoints.
Trained in Adventure-Based Counseling, Beth has also worked in outdoor and challenge settings with people with disabilities, and those involved in recovery from violence and other trauma.
